SEO & Content Executive (Remote)

Job description

An SEO specialist who will grow traffic across the entire Bitfinex platform but will have specific targets set to increase our traffic across derivatives products.


The individual will have strong analytical skills, extensive experience with SEO best practices keeping up to date with the latest trends and updates across the major search engines and a proven track record driving exceptional results via organic search. This position will be critical in driving our goals forward with Search Engine Optimization efforts.

Job Description:

  • Create engaging and unique content targeted towards our user base of professional traders.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support product launches and help the team meet our strategic marketing goals
  • Conducting on-site and off-site analysis of competitors. Use the analysis to help improve our websites performance and working closely with the marketing project manager to ensure changes needed are implemented with the development teams
  • Using Google Analytics and third party tools to conduct performance reports regularly. Work with the marketing manager to identify new technical SEO opportunities.
  • Creating high-quality SEO content for the Bitfinex platform
  • Look for new backlink opportunities and work closely with the PR team to find content marketing opportunities.
  • Assisting with blog content using trends you identify to create engaging content to be ranked in major search engines.
  • Lead keyword research and optimise existing content and pages on Bitfinex to improve traffic
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments in SEM and sharing findings with the team and management.
  • Supporting the teams in engaging content for email marketing and social media when needed

    Requirements

    • The ability to create high quality content targeted towards the financial industry or cryptocurrency markets.
    • Exceptional communication and English skills to ensure high quality content is created across various channels
    • Extensive experience in SEO both white and black hat to ensure best practice at all times
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
    • Thorough understanding of web design and site structures.
    • Good knowledge of back link analysis and outreach
    • Good understanding of WMT
    • Experience with ahrefs
    • Good understanding of keyword discovery to support the marketing team in creating content
